the main motive was A commitment "to reduce global emissions so as to hold the increase in global temperature below 2C" and to achieve "the peaking of global and national emissions as soon as possible" But summit was not a success.because d countries didnt agree on setting the limit on carbon emission.developed countries like india,brazil,told that in need of development.they need to the levels of the limit. brazil,india,china,south korea the bricks countries dint agree for it.
