Of course, the public uprising is OK, but not possible since we have been divided on various grounds. On the other hand talking with the authorities will also not help since the number of good officers are very less. Moreover we are all mentality corrupted and by hook or crook we want to get things done immediately and no patience to wait. We need good government with service motive politicians who are the representatives of the public to serve and this thinking has been void and the politics has become commercial. First our political systems need to be revamped and the offenders should not be let free without punishment. The government office should function like a private corporate business houses to boost the work performances and efficiency. All the work should be executed within the time frame specified and those who have failed to do so should be made liable for answering. Under the circumstances public need not give any bribe to the officials who are there to do service to the public.Hence the responsibility in controlling the corruption lies on both the public and the government. The public should have the confidence that anybody indulged in corrupt practices will definitely be punished. The officials & the politicians should afraid to commit malpractices on account of loosing their jobs, status, M.L.A., M.P., or minister posts. Hence a good system of governance should be in place across India.
Thanks for the referral Mr.Anand.

A public uprising is good , but whether anybody agree or disagree, we are also reponsible for increase in corruption in our country. As we are ready to pay bribe @ RTO, govt. offices for getting the work done in no time. So, first we should start it from ourself & should take oath for opposing it @ every stage & in every situation of our life. Thanks for referral, Anand

Public arising will happen only when driven to the wall. Today people in all forums can afford to pay off and get the work done so corruption thrives. A day will come when it will surpass all limits and become unaffordable to the public at large. It is then when a sudden uprising will be seen. The Maoists, Naxalites and other clandestine groups will unite together and the results will be disastrous to the nation. It is high time the Nation's leaders wake up and take remedial measures before things go out of control.

May I add a few lines please? We are against corruption, no doubt. How many of us are willing to leave thier jobs and fight against this evil ? I don't think anybody will take the risk. Out of 120 Crore people, only a handful of them followed Anna Hazare.. Honestly how many of the participants in this forum participated in Hartals in their own places, conducted in support of Anna.. Finally, we don't know how our great politicians and renowned lawyers find loopholes in the proposed Act.."Dharma Samrakshanaardhaaya Sambhavaami Yuge Yuge" Looking forward with a desperate hope that somebody will come one day to wipe out corruption. To quote "The Road is Dark and the Stairs are Slippery.. Yet the Sun is sure to be born and the Tomorrow is Always Mine" If I am wrong, I stand corrected...

Let it start with ourselves. If one is Govt embloyed either quit and start doing business or stay with Govt service be satisfied with your salary. If we find a corrupt Govt servant tell him straight thatif he is not satisfied with his salary he should quit and give way for another truthfull person to take his chair. When we are very sure that corruption is happening in a office express your displeasure in front of the person.Show this boldness and slowly encourage others also to do the same.Avoid moving around / contact with corrupt politicians, since they are powerfull tread carefully and one easy way to respond will be (if you believe it)to start hating that person.Whenever we see or hear about a corrupt politician simply say yourself that you hate him because he is corrupt.Feel bad that you are helpless in doing anything further.Pity upon the system that allow this to happen and pray that the party should be punished. Please believe me when this internal activity takes place in a common group with a common prayer, things start shaping up beyond our reason.Regards

I think every body will be on the side of Public Uprising since if you want to talk to the Authorities you will have to bribe them for registering your complain. Anand thanks for referral but I dont see your posting.

Hey, Mr. Prateek, Theres is nothing wrong in turning down a bill. It is a process of the Parliament. Pros & Cons is to be convinced & confirmed to the elected people. If not, it will be turned down. But, then, it does not stop there. With a proper consultative committee , it can again be introduced. No body stops any initiatives of the people. It has to go through the process.

Hey Mr. Suryanarayana Murthy, I agree with you. The trend in discussing on Corruption grows. If it does Good, it is nice & fine. But, then, it should give others a chance to fend on this issue (a source for their better living- paves way for exploitation).

Hey Mr. Prateek, You are very young & might not be knowing fully the functional efficiency of Organizations. To overcome these Barriers, Procrastination, Dilemma & make an Organization efficient & effective, everyone is striving hard. Be the Organization a School, College, Corporate Body, or a unit of Govt Dept., its leaders are continuously working at the base to improve it. But, the mass that knows the ills, are exploiting the situation for ones' own sake. Now, what we are as an Individual saying is that we need to be selfless at service. Put forward your service in the front than the pocket that offers to you. This is the crux of the problem. Individual likes to enrich the pocket with the help of doing this service. This need to be arrested. Be it a Govt staff, Corporate authority, even a Sevak in Mandir, are all one among our Mass. They are , no different than as except that they are offered a power by their respective Organization to deliver some goods as one is directed. The constraints at the helm delays the procrastination. So again it is a Mass problem. Let us understand the System, Reality & not be fooled by miscreants. Just do your duties before claiming its Privilege with Clean Heart and mind (Other way around things are happening now). You will have a nice Society.

Public uprising isn't a solution to me. Talk to authorities and fight for it. We enjoy a very good democratic system. The corruption sits deep within us. It isn't like I agree not a break the law until everyone else does the same. Its like I am talking sense and they can't fool me around. Authorities won't change unless we really state the problem. Lets change things only where they are wrong, otherwise we will have a very new confusing system and full of loopholes.
