Why Can't. "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE". One day if Govt will decide (I know it is foolish to think about....but just for imagination) to ban the usage of cell phones....we will be forced to live without cellphone..Isn't?

difficult. it has become a mobile media. talk from anywhere - at home, on a journey, travelling, out-of-station etc. more important, after the advent of the cell i have forgotten the phone numbers of my regular contacts and even family members. type their name, or say their name and you get connected. a different ringtone for each group - friends/ family/ office/ avoid etc. will give you an advance warning. also looking at the name, you can choose to divert the call to your voice-box - the extra facillities as offered by the cellphone is what makes it attractive

Our ancestors have lived without clothes at some point in history, but can we today. Sorry! we have moved on. Cellphones are just the latest in the series of unending changes. Though I have my reservations if it is as desirable as clothes, dwelling, etc. Anyway time have moved us on. Either we drift along with its waves or drown with it.

it is mobile unlike the landline. after the advent of the cellphone, i have forgotten all my phone numbers - really. just type amma to talk tp my mother, hitler to talk to my mother-in-law and believe it or not "Wife""Son" to talk to my family, I do not remember any numbers now. Similarly incoming calls advertise the caller by name giving you time to prepare or choose to ignore the call.

In this present era Cell phone has become a an essential commodity in humans life. People start their lives with Cell phone even before a sip of coffee. Cell phone and internet revolution changed the facet of world and making the world squeezed to a global village. But throwing our children lives out of gear. Children's are mostly misusing the facility and spoiling themselves what i observed.Either to get a Pizza or to meet a Boyfriend/Girl friend. Keep the Cell phone away from the children and teach them the importance of positive communication with cell phones. N.S.Rao

No Shilpa you can not avoid cell phone. It has become part & parcel of our life. It has become the most convenient tool of communication for personal, social and Business purposes. Thanks to Technology, you can conduct all types of Banking & Business Transaction there by saving fuel on commuting, paper to save wood/ forest and most important Time. Reachability - family & friends can reach & communicate at any time of the day/night . Yes one has to use it in a discrete manner & should follow discipline & maintain etiquette to avoid health hazards & nuisance. Now a days thro' cell location they can catch criminals & robbers and even locate accidents in dense forest areas & assist & help the injured victims. common shilpa things have changed, move forward as Time/clock is always moves forward you cannot pull it back. Yes, we lived without cell, those were the different days/periods. Shilpa don't live in past.

it is like asking one to go back living in caves it is like turning the clock back. Living without cell phones, TVs, radios, cinemas, road, rail, air transport is not imaginable in these days as all things support communication, entertainment, mobility, business etcetera. The question cannot be answered in simple terms

Cell phones have become an indispensable part of our life that it is difficult to be without the services of a cell phone. Currently, cell phones have multiple features that help us in our daily life like clock, alarm, camera, etc. Hence, it has become an inseparable part of the daily life. It will be difficult to be without a cell phone unless there is a compelling factor not to have it. Thanks for the referral, Sameer...
