It was total chaos outside Chinnaswamy stadium as Cricket fans were laticharged as thousands of cricket fans who were waiting from wednesday to buy tickets for Sunday's high profile clash b/w India and England, but where more than 10,000 fans waited outside the stadium only 1000 - 1500 tickets were issued at the gate and this created confusion which led to chaos and then laticharge.

In a 50, 000 capacity stadium only 1500 tickets issued to the public....and then it is said that the rest all tickets have gone to memebers and corporate people....How can this really happen, this is complete injustice to the common man who wait for hours to get tickets but just got beat and went back home, how would he feeling about all this.  Is cricket a commoner game anymore?? share your thoughts on this...........share your thoughts on this.....

I really dont think so, with the incident which we saw in Bangalore yesterday where cricket enthusiasts were beaten up by police and the KSCA and BCCI are to be blamed for this fiasco.....real cricket enthusiasts are the ones who wait outside the ground to get hold of the ticket, and if the officials are failing it to do justice towards that then its all waste, 50,000 seats are available in chinnaswamy stadium, but 1500 tickets given to public, rest all given to their own members and then to the corporate people.....What is wrong with BCCI or KSCA, Anil kumble and Javagal srinath are the heads of KSCA now but why did such a situation arise in the first place, did they sell all those tickets...at the moment cricket enthusiast just got beaten up and went empty handed.

What do you think police should do in an emotionally charged atmosphere? Allow stampede? There has been enough clarification. 1. The match was to have been held at Calcutta and was shifted to Bangalore 2. There was an online site for purchase of tickets. When a facility to book tickets online is given, why not make use of the facility. The argument of a genuine fan who waits outside the stadium does not cut ice. The fan should view cricket at comfort and online booking provides that. 3. If I go by the clarification issued by Srinath and Kumble, 14000 tickets out of 35000 tickets were open for general sale. Of this, 7000 online tickets were sold. Rest of the 7000 were sold at the stadium. What is wrong in that? As fans, (I too am a fan), but let us understand facilities technology offers

From this what we see it that CRICKET is a ELITE's  business. Particularly, reserving seats for top notch(Corporate / Govt) means that they are setting a trend to make it more lucreative & business like orientation for Higher echelons..

In spite of Kathi-charge, no one ran away from the place. & still waited there for tickets. They should protest the kathi / lathi charge by boycotting the match.

A clear mention of the ticket selling methods through paper advertisement could save so many man-hours of our country.

Very unfortunate and expected result. Only those people have ticket can help to resolve this situation. Again unfortunately this will not happen. Again, it is not a common game and only those people have connection and money can watch this game in stadium.

This incident mainly happened due to mismanagement and because of inefficient managers. BCCI & ICC should have planned well before it takes decision to change the venue to Bangalore.

Very unfortunate. As a mark of protest Mr. shard power should not witness the final in person.

Very arrogant attitude of BCCI. Sad. BCCI should have gone for bigger ground say Kolkata but unfortunately BCCI it seems is a political party. Cant be helped.

Why!! Test cricket is the best form of cricket and that tests the real power of a player. We should not get lost in glamor and forget the roots should we??
BJP too is forcing him to resign but he is seeking legal options to stay in. No one wants him, everyone knows how corrupt he is still he is not willing to leave! what should this attitude be called? Do you think he will resign at will ?
