I had the same feeling when i compared the football and the one day international . But now it is different both are interesting for the every single minute . Change can take place at any point of game as you can see how Ireland changed vs England. So my opinion is both are equally entertaining .

Well, Football is a fast game and takes some stamina for running the whole 90 minutes or 120 minutes at times. The players are very fit and take the challenge of running through defenses every single offense move is forwarded. There are 11 players on field per team totals of 22 players just like cricket but the irony is in cricket only 2 people in batting stay on field but 11 stay on fielding. This shows cricket is a lazy game. There may be times when a player in a team does nothing at all and gets money paid on time as their match fees.Football is not like that every person has to earn their salary if they play good they get paid more else they get paid less.
Cricket is good game to watch and get ourselves entertainment as we Indians like cricket better than football.

Football is more interesting becos it is a short game ie just 45 minutes each side with a 15 mins break. cricket on the other hand is a day long affair, excluding the t20's. more so cricket has become more of a business and money making game whr players r more intd in advertisements than playing d game wich is not d case with football. yur debates on this topic pls

Reply to the topic: No one can say which game is intresting. i played both from childhood and both the game is equally exiting. You will know if you ask someone who plays the game, not the viewers.

To me it has to be Cricket akk the way though i wouldnt mind watching a football match. In a football match the outcome depends on a number of factors and it is basically a team game wherein all members have to function in cohesion to come out winners whereas in cricket though its a team game, individual brilliance can still go a long way. A sachin tendulkar can carry the entire team on his able shoulders.

I came from a football country I grew up playing football watching every single match of my lovely teams when ever they are playing even the teams I don't support I enjoy watching because it's very interesting, football is a game of passion, excitement and it's played in 90 minutes or 120 minutes in case of finals when there is deadlock unlike cricket which I came to know much after I came to India despite being from S.A but the people who follow of cricket it's just a dozen general speaking it's boring just seeing people throwing a ball and one batting for almost 8 hrs sometimes more there is know much excitement but I got know issues especially to cricket lovers I enjoy when India win because my Indian friends normally invites me to the aftermath party where I can booze to the max so every time India plays I pray for them to win so that I can drink though I don't know anything about cricket how they calculate there score but I enjoy these guys betting monies

Football is a game loved and supported by most part of the world being more dynamic. The fact about cricket is,"Wise People Play It And Foolish Watch It !!!"

Undoubtedly foot ball is the real game for utilizing full energy and full team always. Most exciting movements are expected all the play time. Viewers involvement is much high when compare to cricket. Cricket is not based on consistency, but football is playing when every player have their own capacity at all times. No scam in football, but cricket means fraud/scam.

I too love foot-ball which is very interesting game that is not getting due importance. I think this is due to the money involved where as the cricket has much more importance in India on account of money power plays the role.

Thanks Ms.Shilpa for the referral.

I love football... I enjoy football.. No offense against cricket fans but the excitement that I feel in watching Football is totally different I almost forget anything around me. The advantages like game can be played even in worst climatic conditions are added. The club matches and the dedication of the player for their club is so emotional which makes me relate to the game..
