To meet this challenges, organizations should relook several processes across the IT infrastructure so they can better protect information and applications, enhance data center service levels, improve storage and server utilization, manage physical and virtual environments, and drive down capital and operational costs.

They should consistently look to simplify, consolidate and accelerate performance within their data centers while lowering costs......

Our Social & Educational set up as a country progressing thru the human development index supported by the explosion of sectors like mining, banking, manufacturing, rural mkt, micro-financing etc definitely ask for optimization of processes, efficiencies etc and thereby costs. In view of that Data Centers need to be based locally supported by emerging initiatives like cloud computing etc

But with this comes enormous responsibilty for the IT honchos and strategists, that these centres are supported by Greener, deeper customer focus for delight thru robust service processes, disaster mgmt, dynamic recovery processes, very near to zero down times etc
