Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao begins his three-day visit to India today, trying to boost trade and soothe tensions between the two fastest-growing major economies in the world.

Wen's visit is the first by a Chinese premier in five years. He will be accompanied by more than 400 business leaders, underscoring the growing commercial ties of countries which, between them, house more than a third of the world's population. But there is mistrust among the two countries regarding their arms deal with pakistan and the border issue with them, and their constant spying on India.

So, despite this mistrust...can China be a really good neighbor for us?

Yes...The two countries, one-time rivals who went to war in 1962, are now entwined by their booming trade relationship and rising global clout. Both have stood together to resist Western demands in world trade and climate change talks.  Closer economic ties are driving much of the goodwill. China is now India's largest trade partner and two-way trade reached $60 billion this year in a recent news report.

Today world over economic ties constitute literally the bedrock of relations for many countries ... Both sides are keen to further enhance mutually beneficial trade and are looking at new initiatives. SO yes China can be a really good neighbor and there can be a symbiotic growth where both the nations are growing together..

In geopolitics there are no 'friends' or 'enemies', these are misleading words in the given context. More than 2000 years ago, Kautilya (Chanakya) in his 'Arthashastra' has given sensible advice on how to deal with neighbouring countries, apart from other foreign relations. The gist of it is to try and maintain friendly relations, but at the same time, always be on guard using all means, diplomacy, intelligence (spying), military force, economic power, etc. Had Nehru bothered to read and follow Kautilya, 1962 would never have happened. International relations need to be dealt with hard-headed & strong willed realism, not starry eyed optimism

china can not be trusted partner of india ever. there are some basic point in which both can not compromise 1. will to be super power in asia and world 2. lack of political and social interaction. 3. both India and china has huge skilled human resource power and it is the key of growth now these days so both are competitor in international market. 4. rude behaviour and untrustworthy nature and past of china 5. Chinese thinking and help to Pakistan economically, military and weapons, when they know that it may be used against India and it is presently used by terrorists of Pakistan. 6. Chinese policies about Indian states as Himanchal, Kasmir, Meghalaya, and Arunanchal pradesh these are only some very notable things but the hearts of Chinese is black and always tell something and do something else. so never believe china any how.

It can be counted in fingers, the countries trust on China. One old proverb says that, 'offer a best chair to the dis-honest/aggrasive neighbor' to leave in peace.

Why!! Test cricket is the best form of cricket and that tests the real power of a player. We should not get lost in glamor and forget the roots should we??
BJP too is forcing him to resign but he is seeking legal options to stay in. No one wants him, everyone knows how corrupt he is still he is not willing to leave! what should this attitude be called? Do you think he will resign at will ?
