Diwali bonus is an "ex-gratia" should be offered across the board without any pay parity. This will bring in togetherness and loyalty towards the employer!

Yes,bonus must be given to the employees. As Diwali is one of the biggest festivals, it will add cheers to the employee and will also motivate him.Diwali is assumed the day of goddess Laxmi.Everyone prays for the arrival of Laxmi and Lord Ganesha together. So it will be very good to provide bonus for this festival.

It is an Indian festival which will be celebrated all over India on a particular occation, what ever may be the reason behind it. Most of the middle and below middle class families are buying cloths and sweets, etc only on these period. So, it is necessary to give bonus at least one month before Diwali. But sad to inform this to all is, the highest sale in TASMAC(Liquor)is only Diwali eve. It shows, now adays people are thinking or addicted for this Liquor drinking on special occasions. People are not to be normal in occasion like this, so they spend so much of money for intoxication. The Indian culture is changing and there is no fear of God and simply they treat God as an Idle.
