Seeing the very nature of profession one could definitely argue that definitely as per the hippocratic oath they should put the patients' interests supreme but we should not forget that doctors are also human beings and they require more concentration while attending a patient. Everyone would agree that with a disturbed mind no doctor can heal a body, mind or soul. If govt are not providing them an environment where they can treat well how could they remain silent. they cannot go for any other route except the silent protest in form of non-cooperation. this is some thing which we have learnt from our great father of the country too.
