I agree that Current economic crisis has affected both advertisers and buyers. This time when Advertisers are seeking for cheap advertising solution. And ofcourse taking an online banner is much cheaper than a billboard. Same with buyers. Interactivity is always required to communicate and deal. The online business platforms are direclty doing this within a span of time. As per me this is time since when a new era of online marketing/busiess and social media community approach to be begun.

Economic manifestations are very clear that the situation is going to be worse than before it would be good. Hard time now to run the existing business and should know how to sustain the business process and this is the right time to change the existing business process flow too.....

Current economic crisis has affected the income at both corporate and employee level. As corporate earning has been negatively affected, companies want to make prudent use of finance and prepare for market uncertainty .Consumers spending has also slowed down ,the recent reports about drop in US retail and automobile sales is an example.Already there is report about ecommerce being affected. So definitely Economic Crisis has a significant impact on  Online Business.

 Thanks,

Sobhan

There's definitely going to be a drop in discretionary spending. But also keep in mind there will still be buyers for goods out there people some things people just don't want to to do without. And as in everything else economic, these things move in cycles so as bad as it gets now we should see a period of prosperity again in the future.

It will. It has to.
May be not very significantly, but it will have an impact.
Job Cutting = lesser money to spend = lesser income for some people online.

Economic crisis is just another new beginning for online business and growing opportunity for online business. More and more business will tend to move online to attract more customers and save cost. Since marketers will tend to cut cost , marketing online will cost lesser than hoarding and promotion events.

I feel online marketing is the best. And its true that every one is experiencing it now a days.

In current scenarios businesses are engaing adevrtising medium which can give the immediate ROI's and gives them control over the spend and its effects. And nothing can give these facilities better then online marketing. I think current economic crisis is a boon in disguise for online marketing as an industry.

I don't see any reason why the online business should need to close or even shrink, but customers for creative services such as new web sites and all the associated technology will be thinking carefully whether they can afford to update so regularly. This business is a form of advertising, I'm thinking that the internet business doesn't have much to fear, unless the whole internet comes down. And if we end up in circumstances where the whole internet ends up getting shut down, I think we will have bigger problems on our hands than not being able to get a job.
