The risk of brain tumors from cell phone use and EMR exposure limits that have been used by governments and supported by industry are based on the false premise that EMR has no biological effects except for heating.

Radiation emissions from mobile phones could place users at risk of brain conditions including Alzheimer's Disease.Researchers in Sweden have found that just two minutes' exposure to energy waves from a handset can disable a defence mechanism in the body designed to prevent harmful proteins and toxins in the blood from entering the brain.

A test was done on a Rat exposed to Microwave pulses. Within two minutes of exposure, the rats' brain tissue was found to be opened up to proteins and toxins contained in the blood after the defence mechanism was disabled.

We are not sure yet whether this is a harmful effect, but it seems that molecules such as proteins and toxins can pass out of the blood while the phone is switched on and cross into the brain.

Cellphone waves I believe are not truely microwave type. Radio frequency spectrum is between 40Khz to 40Mhz. Above this range is Microwave spectrum Since the waves are in the radio spectrum may be at the top end of it it may not casue harm to humans as microwaves do.

Technology comes with package of good and bad both effects. It is we who have understand the difference between necessity and luxury. If not any serious disease, hours of talking or listening to the music on the phone is going to cause hearing problems definitely. It is said that keeping cell in the left pocket of the shirt is not good for the heart and one should avoid it. Also keep phone at the left side while talking, etc. To believe and follow or not is ones own will but I will say precaution is better than cure!! It will definietly cause problems, may be in different ways for different people. It is better to use an ear phone to limit the damage. In house, one may also use the Speaker option. Avoid long converstions or hearing music without ear phone, use SMS to convey short communication or Data chat which can be done visually. Allow young children to use the mobile phone only with the Speaker on. By P. A day one person can speak upto upto 4 hrs on mobile and 2 hrs on a walkman headphone. If anyone crosses this limit then there are chances of that person getting cancerbrain tumour. The subsystems are time division multiplexing, code division multiplexin, phase shift oscillators etc; which are not microwave systems. The incoming modiulated signals are radio waves and the output what you listen is accoustic waves like what you hear on ordinary telephones. Once the diphram of the speaker on your telephone moves it creates accoustic waves which inturn makes the digphram in your ear move like ordinary telephone and you hear voice. One cannot listen to microwaves which need buliker subsystems like magnetrons and cavity resonators for oscillations meaning they cannot be miniaturised. So these on the cell phones of the type described above are benign as used in other form on communications like ordinary telephones may be only miniaturised and improved versions. EMR watchdogs have sent a paper named "Cellphones and Brain Tumors: 15 Reasons for Concern, Science, Spin and the Truth behind Interphone," to government leaders and media. "Exposure to cellphone radiation is the largest human health experiment ever undertaken, without informed consent, and has some four billion participants enrolled. Science has shown increased risk of brain tumors from use of cellphones, as well as increased risk of eye cancer, salivary gland tumors, testicular cancer, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and leukemia. The public must be informed," said Author of the report L. Lloyd Morgan who is a Retired Electronics Engineer and also member of Bio Electromagnetics Society. The paper has revived the old debate on whether cell phones really cause brain tumor and cancer. Consumers now wonder whether to believe the paper or think that this is just another conspiracy theory.
