No. My last one year as a team lead has augmented my understanding that, no. Mostly when-ever someone quits, the everyone thinks that he/she quit as a result of his/her direct relationship with his sup. but there are greater motivations, if we try to understand. Lets take salary as a point. this is not in the hand of his supervisor. let us say geogarphical location of office. shift timing. these are the major but not so palpable reason that we fail to address to retain an employee.
