As per my point of view, a better customer service is the main mantra of success for private sector banks. In banking industry, a predetermined trustworthiness is always attached with the name of a bank and for this reason public sector banks get the first priority in a common man mind. But when the question comes regarding CONVENIENT then, private sector banks add more convenience in customer service than public sector bank or you can say particularly in this matter PSU banks are following and competing with private sectors. According to my personal experience, it is just very common or a regular practice that when you visit a public sector bank there is nobody to take care of your problem and even when you put your problem in front of an official either he'll point out to somebody else or make you wait for a long time. But there is no chance of such thing in a private sector bank and it is scarcely there. Rather they are implementing self-care options as well as i-banking, mobile-banking and phone banking to take care of the problem on customer's convenience & comfort. No doubt there is a noticeable change in PSU banks in last 10 years, still now we haven't get the desired results. Again we can expect a better banking but what more time we have to wait!!!
