Saif Ali khan is an excellent actor. His talent shouldn't be over shadowed because of his parents.We have seen him becoming one of the best actors of bollywood.He is without doubt better than many others in bollywood. He definitely deserves padma shree award for his excellence in the cinema field. But just because the case is still pending in court it should not deter one from recognising the service the person has done to the film industry, and if he is convicted then take away the award. It is just that apart from other khans saif has got this has irked many saying that he is not a deserving candidate

I dont think Saif has done any wonders to deserve Padma Shri award. If he is compared with Madhuri Dixit who was a great star or Aishwarya Rai who made her mark in the international sector, he is no where near them. He became an actor only because of his parents and not on his own merits. Merely by having 5-6 hits in his pocket he thinks he is a deserving candidate then what about people who have spend life doing things for our country? His parents have bought him this award. This shows Now-a-days, there is no value left for a padma shri award.
