Do we need a Obama for India?

India choose to be a socialist country after independence. Invasion of Indian territory was the result of capitalism in Europe and England. We were independent states before English invaded our land. English were autocratic but they kept us divided as states. There were kings of these divided states. Somehow, few educated men like Gandhi, Nehru, Patel, saved us from our falling again to a number of small countries ruled by kings. Imagine India into a land of small  countries like Nepal and Bhutan. Socialism was the only hope for us then. However, after independence, we did little out of a democracy. Had we exchanged money/material in regular dealings and relied less on the govt., we would have seen more growth. We relied on govt. to provide, distribute and decide the markets. We relied a little too much on our leaders. I think, we don't need Obama to India. We already had many like him in India already. We instead need only go-getter public representative who can promote competition and is also a part of it. What do you think?

Surely NOT !

He is not doing even in his own country anything extraordinary, why we should need scraps of other countries !??????? 

Why people are not satisfied having greats like Dr. Manmohan Singh, P. Chidambaram, Ahluwalia and many others at much higher rankings than certain Obama for any purpose whatsoever !

If I give the names of 10 Indian current Politicians, because Obama is a politician, Mr. Obama can not even get the 10th Rank out of this list, forget about , we wanting him in India !

Rightnow, our politicians- Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh & their Team are doing tremendous work for India, and remind us of Plato's Divine Concept of "Philosophers-Rulers".

If you look at the The Economic Scene in the World, only India and China ( & a bit Brazil ) are doing well, and Rest of the World, including Obama's USA, and the UK, are struggling very badly,... crying and screaming for protectionism,...requesting for loans ( begging) from the IMF / World Bank. 

The USA & Allies recently implored India , China, Brazil and Russia to buy The IMF's bonds for billions of dollars so that they (the USA & Allies ) could take loans from the IMF/World Bank.And India bought the bonds worth 10 billions dollars, to start with ! And this is called indirect begging !!

And people want Obama in India !? For what ?!?

And when recently great scholar & scientist Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was Indian President, along with great economist Dr. Manmohan Singh as a Prime Minister, and his very talented Team, could you imagine a better confluence of intellectuals and learned scholars at the Top of the power centre, in any part of the World !?

Many people of India are not satisfied with what they have !

May be, once they will have a chance to live in any other  Asian Countries-Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Burma(Myanmmar),Afganistan, Iran, Iraq, Arabian Countries and many other Asian countries, including China; African Countries ; Latin American Countries, and also many European countries, then they will yearn for India and pray GOD 1000 times to send them back to India

Remaining in India, people do not know the difference how worst it could be outside, and keep on finding faults in what they have.

Instead Indian people should be thankful to GOD that they were born in India, may be, as a gift from God for their all the good deeds in thir many previous births...

OR it is just a sense of ungratefulness...!!?

USA and India have heaven and hell difference of cultures. Obama was raised in that country so he knows the society very well. Manmoham singh was raised in India because he was raised here. Manmohan singh cannot be fit for USA since he doesn't know anything about the society there.The same case is with Obama about India. So, the question even doesn't arise......

We need not an Obama but many grass-root level leaders who can work some social change before an Obama can take centre-stage.

Just a decade ago, we had a problem of brain drain. Manmohan singh and few other economist worked  to open markets and sell off sick public sector units. India got some economic growth. We don't have brain drain all that serious. However, problems are far from over and we still seek govt. to bail us out. Our politicians work hard to prove themselves our savior but Why do we create such vacancy for politicians? For example, Only Govt. hospitals were testing H1N1 cases, private hospitals were kept out of it. Politicians had no clue as to how to engage private hospitals and we depended on them to ease this situation. Private hospitals would have earned in this situation, however public hospitals would have gained a taste of competition from it. We thus need go-getter who shows no austerity but talks business and thus keeps us close to truth.
