In india health is a state subject and therefore there are different level of healthcare services in different states.

Some states have passed act to register and control healthcare institutions like nursing home or hospital (or set-up with similar structure) but still 80% of states do not have any formal legal framework to control such institutions.

such situation not only create labour problems but also create unhealthy and unethical practice in hospitals and healthcare institutions.

In my opinion there should a stringent act (same like Factory act) to control healthcare institutions in India for covering various facilities.

I fully support such initiatives as government is neglecting healthcare for very long period and this is the reason we are still behind countries like China.
