No! Its just fashion to say i have 2,3,5 pixel .we hardly use it . As the trend changing ,we start chancing our model too.People should realize why we need it . when is no use at all .same with radio , Bluetooth etc.

I personally feel there is no need of cameras in mobile phones,Rather its better to have a good and small size digital camera along with us all the time which can be used while we are outside or for any occasion.

It depends. Its all luxury. In competitive world, manufacturer tries to put more facilities to lure the customer. Consequently customer becomes slave to the facilities given. When it was not there, people were preserving their sweet memories in their cameras in print form and then soft form. It depends on us.

Yes, we need have sweet memories, but I cont involve myself in risk. Many places I don’t know people are doing some good thing or recording others with their mobile. We can allow only still cameras with mandatory click sound. So that other knows that he is taking photos. Involving into others personal/privacy is a very bad habit. Its become very easy/common with a camera mobile. Are you people ready to invite others into your privacy? So, cameras in mobile should have some restrictions or should be removed.

I am in the middle of the two boats as I think it is nice to have but the way new phone are boasting having a 8 MP Camera is ridiculous. It is a way to increase the price of the Phone Set. There is no way you can have a decent Photo Censor which actually determines the picture quality, not the Megapixel count. That's why my 6MP Nikon D40 takes much better pictures than most 8-12 MP Slim Point & Shoot Cameras. I like to have a Camera but not more than 4 MP and definitely should not add more than 1000 rupee to the phone set price.

Yes, really it is very useful to have Camera in the mobile phones. Literally, camera is useful to share your happiness and way of life style to your family and friends. There is no need of carrying a separate DigiCam with you to take pics, if u have camera mobile. Cheers :)

Obviously yes...and if you convince me that you are using any other basic model mobile that does not have a camera, then I will support you with all my cause that cameras are nothing but a junk feature to be added on...but if you have a camera in your phone, and still say you dont need a camera, then please...do yourself a favor by exchanging your mobile with 1108 here...its in good condition with its lights blinking at every ring and texts travelling faster than light to its recipient...

It is good. But it depends on the taste of the person using it. If one gets both telephone and camera in one place why not? Recently mobile manufacturers have introduced 8 mpxl camera in mobiles. It is widely used by professionals in industries and other places. In short, nothing is bad if you use appropriately and efficiently when people are there to provide you at the same cost.

i think camera is important in mobile because, if you are go any where without any planning , in this situation we take ony mobile phone not camera ,in this perod we need to capture then what will we do, so camera is very very important in mobile.

Yes there should be camera in a mobile handset...through it we can capture the memoires and we need not to carry an extra gadget(camera) for that....sometime it can be very useful too...like in taking pic.s of site, plots, equipments and women can use it as a safety tool also.

for my personal experience, I had faced an issue in my company at the time I wanted to take the photos but I forgot to bring my digi-camera on that day, but my mobile helped me to take the shots, and that would be the good evidence to the admin dept. to solve the issue, generally techonology improves we need all things in single pocket, so its very much needed

More and More we're seeing converged devices being used both personally and professionally. I'd rather have a camera with my mobile phone to eliminate bringing another gadget with me as I may have a need of that function in the unlikeliest of times.....

You don't know where you need camera. e.g.I hv to catch photos of accident, then @ this condition you need it in your hand. There are several conditions like your kids expression, unplanned friends treat. So cameras having its own advantage.

Ya cameras are needed for the phone , biggest advantage it drives in may be the Catching of a everlasting memory or a smile , the pixels of the camera may depend on the customers taste , as a person interested in photography may opt for a Mobile phone which is technically acceptable for him/ her as it would provide him with the joy of Talking as well as joy of taking Beautiful Shots . But for others its a way to collect memories of their loved ones with its mobility is always at the next click. "Its in the hands of everyone , hence if it is in the hands of wrong ones , purpose may be defeated ." Enjoy talking , Click a smile !!!

yes i think we must have camera in cellphones, cause we follow every where our cellphones, but it is not suitable to follow digi cams every time, and life is full of moments, and no one is why not interested to capture these preety moments of life, so through cellphone cam we can capture these moments..

There is a fight between the lappies, the mobiles, the playstation & the mp4 players that " which one is the best convergence device"... and clearly the MOBILE phones are taking a leap ahead of all its competitors. The comfort of not carrying a lappy, a camera, a playstation, a mp4 player... and still getting all those functionalities in my smartphone makes me sooo thankful !

Ofcorse. if you are paying 10000 bucks for any mobile and you are not getting equal featres then what is the use for spending money. secondly if u have a camera phone u can clik any of ur moment at any time rather carrying ur digicam all the time also 3g tech is benificial if u have a camera phn.
