‘No Doubts: Women have better prospect in HR’. Of course, women were unanimous in accepting that they’re better at managing people. An Indian Information Service Officer said that while women manage work superbly even when unorganized

Personal experiences say that women are better at advising and mentoring. That’s probably one of the reasons why there are many women in the HR teams. Though psychologists warn of over-generalization based on gender, they opine that women are certainly better team players and more tolerant. But a clear-cut generalization that women are better managers is sheer short-sightedness and a highly biased opinion. Both men and women are individuals with their characteristic traits, which determine the managerial success quotient

Mehul thanks for initiating the debate. Yes that is true womens are preferred more for HR positions because they have more patience and ability to understand. Womens are also known as better managers than mens.

Dear Priyanka/Mehul,

What ever u have expressed is true but Priyanka I do not agree with u that women r better manager than men. Better we can say one manager is better than another manager.

Hi Priyanka, According to existing theories, men and women do communicate differently, which in turn has effect on their values and their preferred styles of management. For instance, men most often focus on achieving results above all, while women care mostly about feelings and relationships. This can perhaps be explained by the fact that women’s priorities tend to differ from those of men, and they usually would not pursue a goal at any cost. Females are often seen as more timid than men. all females utilize transformational management is not true, because many use the more autocratic transactional style instead. Furthermore, considering all women on an equal basis regarding their upbringing and talents and abilities is wrong. For instance, one must realize that many successful women managers have started from families with good social status. But still, women getting more opportunities and is regularising in majority organisations.....
