No Mr. Srirang.. Kids will grow up naturally.. With or without parents.. It is quite natural isn't it?? Anyways no mother is too handicap to depend on her husband.. She can do anything for her kids and manage to raise her kids come what may..

Its not practical Shalini.

Think on the lines when any of the parents miss out due to any reason the child's growth is a bit affected. Now question may arise how? I have seen few examples in case of dessertation, the child misses the father and may be due to absence of father the child becomes very stubborn or calm. Both are equally essential as they have been from the past..

Women indeed need men for various other things in life other than just for raising kids. In any case it should not be a man vs woman debate. Raising kids should be a joint parenting effort always. Only such kids would grow up to be responsible and have a balanced frame of mind. Single parenting would cause the kids to echo the behaviour of that parent in life and continue to commit the same mistakes that the parent did. @ Shalini, nope kids cannot grow up on thier own. They do need parental guidance. Kids growing up on their own is akin to a weed growing out of control in a manicured garden. Such kids often resort to compulsive and irresponsible behaviour and take to crime quite easily.

Yes, it is not about a woman can earn enough or not, even if a woman can manage well homelife and job better than the man, she needs his support, feelings and sharings for a child and child too needs love and care from both of them.

Plenty of stories , we read and seen in film where mother struggle to rear child when Father is not there & vice verse goes.

Presence of both, offers the best to their wards. Or else, we know the Children reared up in Ashrams where these elements are missing.

I think it is other way.Mother is stressed as she has higher aspiration on grawth of a child.Female act/ react on positive/negetive impulses that result in loosing patience.

A born child do need cosmic feed of energy to replenish & reinforce immunity.It has been well coroberated by "kangroo trreatment" popular in Australia.Every men & woman has varying dispotion in health condition.A father,s hug can be a great help in boosting immunity when mother fail to loose psychological balance in bad mood owing to physiological weakness.A boy can only learn aggressive venturing skill on imitating demostration any male in life.

Though Men are needed for biological reasons, a good family is there only if thge bonding is there and a good family is like an institution.Without proper understanding between man and wife the good family and good children are not possible.

Why do we debate on basic issues like this .Human emotions play a very important factor(mixed) in making / breaking a human beeing(not to say for a kid ),How the father and mother comes in to picture we all know from our own life.Good emotions even help one to fight basic diseases----so what is Father here----find out.Regards.ashok

For a kid, both the father and the mother plays a vital role in molding him/her for better future.  There is no fixed boundaries for this argument, we have seen so many stories of great people, how they are inspired by their father. Having said that, definitely there is always unconditional love towards mother, she is like a angel believes in giving every thing with out any expectations.

i would definitely think women don't need men to raise kids, i think it should be opposite way for men. But, there are some exceptional case ''Pursuit of Happiness" movie.

Shalini I agree partially with you since in our culture actually both are required to some extent. I do agree that mother will take every care for the children to grow up but at adolescence years of the child there will be some thing missing which may determine his or her future standing.
