When we buy any motor vehicle, we first ask about the mileage and then other benifits of the vehicle. In this era, purchase any vehicle is no problem, only wories maintanance expenses.

yes Being from middle class i accept the AD .... as per perception of the middle class family ... they are not only concern about comfort ... they look for the car with best mileage with comfort.. If you observe the model and price range of Maruti..is to trap maximum Indian middle class market.. cause they knew very much that worlds largest middle class market is here in India...

I accept the Maruti AD. This AD is based on our prevailing market condition & demand. whoever, who want to own a CAR they are very much concerned about the service, maintenance, features, spares, efficiency & most importent is CONSUMPTION (Milage), value for money etc,. This is demand of Average Indian, those want to own a Car. We are developing we don't want to waste the money we want utilise it effectivily it should fulfill all our needs.

I am partly in agreement with you. Yes milage is one of the most important factor but haw about the performance and recent additions that has been made are also factors while buying a car. Though in India the buyer buys the car like say tamato since it is already predetermined by the whole family and the buyer. So I accept the add in percentage.

Mileage is ok. but how you get mileage in indian road. as you know about indian roads. what happened of road's condition in only 1 rain. and also don't forget about the traffic jam. so how people get good mileage.

i don't accept the ad.. i dont think nowdays people consider mileage only as an important option while purchasing a car. they are more concious about the performance, reliability, style, driving comfort, safty as wel as features of the car.

I do not support the Ad. Today many sedans and foreign car makers are coming to India, with great technology and luxury. AFAIK, many people are following Car and bike shows in many channels, to know about the features and other technical aspects. Today people are buying cars with lots of research. Maruti Ad, is a kind of insult for us (people of India), saying we don't like technology, but mileage.

Sheetal, your views are not any anymore true; For example in bikes, how many Pulsar, APache and Karizma are running when comparing to the other bikes which give more mileage. People are running behind Splendor, CT100 and Centra long back; say 5 years back.

I do not accept the ad, b'coz when u look at the Ad they say "Manufacturing cars for the nation who care only about mileage" Aren't we using the sophisticated cars, The Ad creators must come out and see how many Nissan, Audi Mercedes and Lamborghini are running in the Indian streets.
