ALL work is process related. It is not possible to work (totally) independently as at the end of the day, your work has to mesh with that of others in order to make a cogent whole. The trick is to define the interfaces very clearly such that some independance can be achieved

Thers no need to work always in team...many a times work comes best in working indipendently,although team work is important to give your work a final touch and to improve it bit more. So there must be a perfect balance of both.

I would prefer to work in a team. Though it is not mandatory that team always work better yet this concept of working is much better than alone. The prime benefit if work with a team that sharing of responsibility and to develop sense of tolerate each other. While working with a team it creates leadership qualities. Ethically it is better if work with a team otherwise there are chances of malfunction when work undertake alone.
