ya its pretty good..... just because we all are used to old logo doesnt mean that new one is not appealing ...if airtel will change this logo after say 10 years we will again say the same thing "present logo was nice"...Be the Change!

The logo of any company or more precisely brand is defined after many brainstorming session with experts. New logo has got new look and is appealing.Definately it has targeted to youths & red color is depiction of recharged and energised status. If we do semiotic analysis of new logo, their vision & mission statement can easily be aligned. The advertisement features secondary parts that affect “concrete” reality such as warm colour of background & brand name.Look at the logo,it has narrow in last while broad in start,it suggests they have become more ambitious and will soon lead the global arena too. This discussion will take many pages,so in short I would say this one has got likeability. More inputs can be thrown personally.

It looks good, though there is a drastic shift in the logo looks really moving ahead in time, the old logo was getting old and not corresponding to this time...and the new logo looks like targetting the young India, and hence the new logo gets a thumbs up from me.

i feel that that airtel should stick to the current logo, there new logo look like a new electronic brand is launched in market, when i saw that holding in here in Nigeria i felt that some stupid of art work is done to promot a t.v. brand or any electronic brand. i dont understand that they are trying to mach with vodofona logo to grap attact their customers ?

Actually for the Globalization need a change, but here; after spending and investing so much of money the out come not up to that expected levels. compare to this, the old Logo isbetter, atleast the Brand Visible is there, here the New Sympol what is the message, not indicated or communicated any message to the target group, according to my openion just copying the Etisalat sympol,Compare with all other net work, our expectaion is more with 'Airtel'to gather something.
