Facebook rolled out a fairly extensive makeover of the Facebook profile pages over the weekend.  The changes put more focus on relationships within the social network, but also feature the ads much more prominently than the previous version.  Do, you really like the new Facebook profile makeover of yours?? Share your views on this..

I really don't like it...its like every detail of yours is visible in it..like what's your relationship status, photos, where you studied, where you are from and then your DOB....its like anybody can get details of one and we don't know who visited our profile and data is clearly visible and the bar on the right side where the ads are displayed has about doubled from its previous width. Sponsored ads are now much more visible, and take up more Facebook real estate.

Facebook is trying to pull something over the eyes of users by sneaking in large ads. Obviously, Facebook's primary goal is to create an environment that works for users. Unless the users appreciate the changes in the Facebook profiles and frequent the page often, the ads have no value to anyone.

No. Facebook has serious security problems. I have stopped using it after it gave to me "personal information" that I did not feed into it.

Though the new look is a bit cluttery but in my opinion it truly serve the purpose of a profile page. As highlighted by Puja Sarkar "every detail of yours is visible in it". But wont agree with her and others like Sushant if its about your control on what you wish to share and what you don't. Facebook provides a lot of privacy controls too. The only mistake we make is not to adjust these controls as per our liking.

I totally agree with Puja. Its not secured and it becomes very difficult to trace someone if there are any complications with someones personal things.
