Yes the hospitals are taking necessary measures to reduce the risks, but the people are not aware about the risks in the communicable diseases. So one way to decrease the risks is by understand how they spread and how you can protect yourself. Some of the controls measure that should be followed are wash your hands often, get vaccinated and avoid sharing personal items.

In fact,Government hospitals are the major source of communicable diseases according to me.. Apart from the techniques available, there is no proper management of biomedical wastes..

though most of the private hospitals are capable of managing such problems.. many Indians, especially villagers are still dependent on govt hospitals.. Excuses in technical unavailability  is absolutely meaningless..

govt hospitals must be managed properly to get rid of these problems..

Yes you are correct Ms.Bindu Narayan.

I agree with your argument. Prevention is better than cure. Hence awareness should be created to avoid. The visitors to the hospitals are required to be very careful.

yes actually that rate is very less in private hosp. but now a days this is a big problem of govt.  hosps .hospital infaction is also known as nocochomial infaction ..but this is not a horroble problem ..it may be subject of attention..but % of communicable diseases is very small  then other health care problems..in the hosps.

As per Dr. Sudhir Krishna, consultant pediatric surgeon at Fortis Hospital, Infection and communicable disease form a large part of healthcare burden in India, despite the ongoing process made to combat and control life threatening diseases. Amongst these, the most difficult to treat infections are those that the patients pick up while in a hospital

In all over india govt. hospitals are mre than privates..and lower income groups prefer govt. hospitals more..lot more population in govt. hospitals creates less higenic enviroment there...so govt hosp. doctors have to tak major steps in this....
