Yes. India has great potentiality to be super power. India has biggest youth community than any other country. Indian people believe in savings and keep valuable part of aside of their income for future planning. Moreover indian education system is growing at rocket speed which is generating genious youth population. thus india will definitely become super power.

Personally, I believe India has been a superpower all along. No that is not wishful thinking. Everything India did had an impact on the world. Most of us can think back on the last 50 years at least either by personal experience or from what our parents tell us. 

I personally feel that India and what India is has always been a superpower - it is just a matter of recognition. For some time when we were a colony our identity got submerged. now 62 years down the line we are finally well on our way to being recognized for what we always were, are and will be. A mature, responsible, contributing and receiving member of community of nations producing world class citizens.

Nehru was and is right....a tryst with destiny is correct.
