In a democracy, grievances are ventilated through protests. There is no other tool ,politicians are supposed to invoke. It does not mean i support politcians disrupting normal life.i am supporting peaceful right to protests. As the media reported there was economical loss of Rs.13000 crores in one day "Bharat Bandh".The loss has of course taken India 10 days backward. It is therefore high time the people should find an alternative way of showing displeasure on the policies of GOI .

They behave as if they are not elected but are the Kings who are above the people who elected them and can amass wealth as if they are charging lagan. Their political rivalries disappear only one one common point of increasing their salaries, perks & benefits.

Shahid good debate.....

And manoj even I heard this bandh was a big loss for the government. I don't know why people are still fools, they don't think about the outcome of the decision. I don't know who is benefited by this bandh, and the fuel prices also didn't come down ......

Thanks Shahid for your reply and shifting your arguement to the other side. All I requested is to make this debate little bit meaningful so that others will participate.... It is a hell and u know that this is the 2nd hartal in left ruling states like Bengal and Kerala within one week....

@ Mr. Manoj.....Lets not argue beyond the topic.Don't forget: Every debate is an opportunity to learn. Sometime Debating, make you learning. Nevertheless, debates often go wrong but should by easy to understand. That’s the second reason I use the simple one line question rather being descriptive. Anyway,  lets concentrate on the main issue.

As Life in many parts of the country was disrupted on due to the nationwide bandh against the hike in fuel prices by opportunist politicians. It was a bandh for aam admi but the aam admi was the worst victim of this bandh across the country.

Dear Shahid, a relavant debate, before commenting on this debate first I would like to ask that had you really dont know how to create a debate if not please go throgh some debate. It would be better if you would give your opinion on this. Really I dont want comment on this but when I saw the after effects of the bandh all over India I myself thought where I can put my grievances.

I am not sure whether the news is correct or not, but it is reported that "Bharat bandh called by the Opposition against fuel price hike has cost the economy around Rs 13,000 crore (Rs 130 billion), the industry on Monday said the protest is "odd and absurd".

Do we need to say any thing else on this subject. THIS IS INDIA, JAI HO......
