I think Government has to take some serious action and take the control from different state boards. They have to create a single study level and course from Primary to University Level.

I believe its too early to make this kind of decision. We have to first take into consideration all the state board educational system so that they don't lose their importance before uniting them all and since this process is not a one day task, I don't think we are still prepared for this huge sudden change...

This single study level will be very difficult in India because there are many State Government Schools where the teachers are not qualified or competent enough to handle the CBSE or ICSE pattern of syllabus.

I agree with Sulagna. It is too early to decide on this, and even if it is done, it should be done in a phased manner.

But, I feel the problem is not about the single structure. It is enough if various boards improve the efficiency levels. Over the years, I feel the state baords and CBSE have competed with each other resulting in improvements in curriculum.
