I standby Qualification as it is more important for a good job. You will see out of 100 IIM's 90 gets good job and out of 100 experience holder 70 gets a good job.

Yes experience is an added advantage over education. Because there are variation in the standard of education.... so education cannot be the only criteria.....

Yes, to great extent it plays vital role however in some cases it is not so. And the reason why it is so is no organisation wants unprofessional, untrained and inexperienced employee.

For recruiting any one for job,primary concern is how fast the incumbent can pick up. An experienced guy can adopt quickly thus saving time and cost of training. At the same time there is a danger of the experienced guy believing himself to be correct and become stumblingblock. Experience is required,but the level and requirements are more important. Inexperienced can be recruited where research and development needs new thoughts. How ever ,more or less experience always ways over,new entrant

Yes. I affirm with Namrata's view that experience is an added advantage over education.

Because, education is a kind of enriched level of familiarity on a system, but experience is the one which gives expertise on that system.

Thus, both education and experience with a proper blend is the key.

I agree with Namrata and others about this debate in which Qualification can get you in initiallybut experience shall always help you come out of difficult times in anybody's career.

Well without exaggeration, I can list 50 people on my tips who are qualified but are not qualified to do that job. I mean I have seen people who are not qualified but are good at doing things. When asked " how did u get that?". They said " hit & trial". so that hit & trial experiment does give you an experience and an edge over the qualified person. No offence to qualified people but this is purely based on personal observation.
