Hi Anurang, good debate.

I think there should be difference in the distribution of income. Because everybody cannot be given same income as they differ in the work they do. Every sector has their own policies and regulations and the income should be calculated as per that. So according to me income cannot be even.

Yes.

Partly because different people have different capacity, calibre, strength..... So obvoiusly their income will also be different.

But this should not be because of manupulation, corruption, power......Some people (so called white coloured) uses goverement's money for their benefit which was meant for other people.

Variations in the population is the strength of human being which is natural. But unnatural variation gives birth to agitation, war, ........... and this against humanity.

Income distribution is uneven everywhere in the world even in communist and socialist countries. And that's natural and even desirable. Otherwise what would be motivation left to work hard. But, income distribution should not be very uneven otherwise it leads to social unrest. Economists are yet to agree on what that income distribution pattern should be.

I respect Gargi view. But there is little problem with Indian income distributions. Lots of suports are provided to poor people but don't reach them properly due to all red tape systems.

The distribution is uneven as there is proper brackate or system and understading between employers and eomplyees for remunaration. Many places you will see there is a huge gap between two persons income when doing same job at same level and sometime even in same company.

The gap should be minimized for better output and good cost to the clients. Wider gaps invites the crimes in society.

Well Said Gargi!!! I agree with you that income cannot be even.

Adding to Atul's view - We cannot have same salary/income for people at same job profile, same level because companies have their compensation policy behind it where they define themselves on acertain percentile in the market. In the same company if somebody has difference in salary HR always do a internal parity and try and bring the employees closer to highest paid employees at that level.

Well said Gargi!!! Income cannot be even.

Adding to Atul's view - Salary/Income of two employees are not same even if they are doing the same job, same level because there is a company compensation policy behind it where companies target themselves on a cretain percentile in the market. Everybody wants to earn more but not every time we can quote that there is a disparity in companies compensation structure.
