Yes, as the first lady cop, strict disciplinarian and having tons of experience of govt functioning, she deserves a better place than she enjoys today. A woman representation will also boost the cause..

Definitely. I am surprised she aint there till now. With her experience as a super cop and her work done in Tihar jail in prison reforms she would be a good addition to the lokpal committee to reform the politicians. I would vote for TN Sheshan also to be in the committee.

One thought comes to me. We question so much people who are exceptionally good and competent. Do you what kind of people are going to represent Government. Please see persons like these are taken in without any questions. Why? Please debate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nxpahtj0n1Q

Remember, she was the one who brought a semblance of discipline and good conduct to the Tihar jailmates - with the introduction of yoga, meditation, etc. And she has inspired the younger generation girls to go for police and other armed forces - which was a big taboo till then. She deserves to be in the Committee. But let the committee draft a bill which is practical - not the overly ambitious and unpractical bill of Anna Hazare and not the protectionist (for politicians) bill of the Government.

Why not? She can be.Everybody has two sides and no one in this world as a human being is 100 percent perfect.Hence in my opinion we have to see what I,We,He,She,and They contribute for the welfare of the society as a whole. However those who are in public life should be a role model to others with ignorable minus points since we can not expect full perfection. Thanks for the referral Mr.Rohit Thakur.

Yes i want that she should be included in this Committee as she always stands for corruption. while she was in her service she raised the voice in favour of truth. As a women representative she is the best choice i feel.

It would certainly have been proper to include her name! However, given the limitation of five members from civil society, her exclusion for the draft committee for two months is not going to matter much, as she was having proximity with the group with whom she could share her valuable suggestion to get incorporated in the draft bill! I dont see any reason why we should talk about the closed case!

Ms. Kiran Bedi is what I would call a 'socialite social-activist'. There are far more deserving female activists who have conducted themselves in exemplary manner and who are on the fringes of this movement. Any of them can included . Infact Medha Pathkar has an halo even greater than Anna Hazare. Likes of Kiran Bedi and Mr. Kejrival only weakens the team and the larger cause.
