Before going to post my comments I would like mention two valuable quotes of Swamy Vivekananda on Youth. He said,"India wants the sacifice of atleast a thousand of her young men. Men and not Brutes". He explained the qualities of youth thus,"What I want is muscles of iron and nerves of steel, inside which dwells a mind of the same material as that of which the thunderbolt is made". If the youth of India want to control democracy, they need to keep Swamy Vivekanda's quotations as their guide lines. Democracy mean not Politics, Upholding the fundamental rights of common citizen,Educating mass about Polics, saving the country from the clutches of few capitalists and liberating India from family rule.

Yes its a high time for youth to run democracy in our country , because from last so many years our elders did not come up with those excellent results what were suppose to be.Atleast we will realise what actually Democracy is and each and everyone will be able to speak their minds , maybe this gives birth to oa new idea and art of living.

I think age is just a number so what we need is people with right kind of nationalistic attitude who would like to keep interest of nation first be it a old or person or a youth.. we need a a blend of both

It is well known factor that, the youths are the leaders in most of the sectors now. Youth doesnot itself mean that, he is an just young fellow of below 25. Yes, it is true that, he is the younger person compared to the elder ones. But who has gained vast knowledge, experience, practical thinkability can only survive in this democracy. It is well known that, when a child starts walking, it falls on the floors many a times. But, we the parents give support to the child and make it stronger so that, it can stand on its own without any support. We never use this opportunity to make the child fear. Similar way democracy and handling the delicate democracy in a very sustainable position fully depends on the support we are getting from the expeienced and knowledgable senior and elder persons. We cannot treat all elder or senior persons in a similar way. Get support from the seniors and move alongwith the juniors.

Yes, its time that youth should start active participation, but if we say that old people should move away...thats incorrect .A mix of old and young is required to bring about revolutionary change in the thought process.Old people are the guiding light and foundations to the newer buildings of democracy. We cannot simply write them off instead go hand in hand with them and make them realize where they have taken us and how much they will need to travel with the youngsters by changing their outlook and accepting them.

There is an old adage that Twenty can beat Sixty is still a dream comes true. Inviting younger generation in active participation on social issues such as Corruption is a welcoming one and saying that they can change the future cannot b accepted

The youth need guidance and support from the experienced lot. The concept of youth varies from person to person. Some think age decides youth, others consider youth as the age when persons can handle challanging situations, still others feel the stage when persons can be proactive and take risks. A youth for a sport maybe an infant as a head of an organization or as a political leader. What is necessary is the approach to life in difficult situations, the attitude towards duty and the acceptance of responsibility. Youth who are over ambitious give up at the very first pitfall. In politics there are turbulent moments day in and day out. Hats off to the PM and his predecessor for handling the government with a coalition threatening to pull them down on almost all major issues. A young leader will not be able to handle a vast country like India with so many diverse issues.

Politics is no T-20 wherein youth can play centre-stage. To run a democracy, it requires tons n tons of experience and maturity, and that can be gained only after playing long innings.so..sorry. Not their baby.
