It is a political gimmick.people want change so the change is there. there needs to be more news for the media people. this change puts all the focus of any impending issues of the government out of focus.hence people forget what has been past and what is going to be is what their concern.business lobbyist are looking forward how they could make their earning out of the new cabinet shuffle. It is a ever ending game of losing and winning and change.people need it.within these constraints if things go better then its ok for people. congress definitely has done some justice but has to do a lot to stand on their foot.

Yes. From Bad to WORSE! Jairam opposed realtors, heavy-weight industrialists and the like, shunted out to Rural Development (future election funding is at stake, change was inevitable); Solicitor General is on war-path with the Law Minister, for face-saving, he is shifted to Corporate Affairs; Murly Deora pleaded ministerial berth for his son, his son got inducted, he is shunted out; The worst part, in the entire episode, is DMK lost both the portfolios - Telecom & IT and Textile. Pranab Da claimed the equation with the DMK is excellent, yet to see reactions from the party, whose third contingent is waiting to face the wrath! Its a musical chair! With these changes, one can hardly believe any miracle to happen, as the PM does not have a "magic stick to wand"!

It is the need of the Hour & is inevitable to UPA. What the Ruling Govt envisaged by this reshuffle, is best decided by the PM,certainly, not by you & I. In coalition govt., reshuffle is just a matter of requirement than to plan beyond one's normal . Lokpal bill, Black money, Land acquisition bill, Woman's empowerment bill, Food security bill etc are the few to be enacted successfully that's what the Ruling's aim.

There is no formula existing that change will change the government's image. It depends upon the people included and their working style and efficiency too. Its too early to say anything. Let them take over and do something.

THE GOVT POSITION IS IRREPARABLE AND RESHUFFLING OR REVAMPING IS JUST TO SURVIVE TILL THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTION.

I am not too expert about politics but my personnel view that reshffleing means doing the job with same personnels by means of giving them in different chair or post.but my question is that all the cabinet ministers are not expertise of there filed but they get the ministers chair because of public vote, and they failed to in there job or not doing the job correctly so when they are given the another chair or post how they can? Ok let's see, time will say say every thing. But after all we need work for public not a image. Ty Neelima for referral .

Time will tell only if see some positive chnages after the change in the cabinet we can say that there has been a change worth something. Till then the old ministers wil be same as the new and new will not be regarded any different.
