Well for obvious reasons, the first customer whom the company must satisfy is the internal customer. In some of the IT product development companies you will also find that before they launch a product in the market, they first test it within the organization to fix the known bugs rather than letting the external customers know of how silly those bugs are. So yes, the first client of the company is the company itself.

It depends on what do you mean by client .. A company learns a lot that is true but that does not make them their own client..

When a company launches a new product and it approaches the market, they also see the changes in the market, study them and see where they stand a chance. For the company, its first client is themselves. They have to breach their own expectation levels and reach to a new high. Then only clients in the market will notice you as a different entity

Before any company designs a product for the market, it does research to find ' What Customers/ market wants', not that 'What I have to produce that I like'.

The attitude differs from company to company.

Mostly any company registers success, if they produce ' What market requires'(and viable for the company to sustain growth in terms of profit)

Is it so?Already the incorporation and commencement has been done with. Company intends to be strong with its human resources. It needs to satisfy for them, an efficient and effective work culture. However, whatsoever can be added to this..will be less, in fact diminutive.

The client is the end-user of the product/service. How can this be the company itself? The companymay test processes, attempt to bench-mark procedures but can never be ones own client.
