Going by a generic view, I would support your view Esha that investment in property is a good option.

But , to me it still seems subjective:

Time horizon of investment; if it is too short than probably low tide in market at times would wipe off your money.

Locality, If I look at prime properties which saves my travel time and are located centrally, than they have almost reached to saturation in terms of growth, it is lower than other avenues.

If the choice of the up coming society is incorrect may lead to losses.

So, I would not be absolutely in favor of investing until and unless these factors are taken into consideration.

Of-course investing in property is good in both ways, short term or long term as the population pressure is ever increasing so also is the number of builders and revenue of people. Soon everyone will save enough and then those already invested now will stand a good steed.  

Absolutely Esha there is no two ways about it any investment in property is a guaranteed money spinner.Considering the Trivia that how more "new wealthy” and new millionaires will be produced in the next 10 years than have been created in the last 110 years—combined leaves us with no doubt about the investibility factor.

Investment in property was / is good everytime, all season and all places. One is to keep watch for the right price.

--   Proper documentation is must

--   Safe-gurding of the premises is necessary despite costs .. etc.. etc.

In country like india, with the amount shortage of living space, the cost of commute still high, real estate is the greatest single short term and long term investment. It is the most reliable. There are some occassional dips in the appreciation, but that goes by....eventually, if one is strategic / opportunistic, one always wins with real estate investment.

After of long time now property market is going to boom, there are many big builder in india with there big small, after all this do you think this is right time to invest in property
