money minde moreover everyone has become money minded now. No other option. look at the inflation levels. Doctors also are part of same world of which are others so why should they alone be blamed?

Sorry James dont support you in this one. In fact it is easier for docs to be ethical in their profession unlike others. Let me explain with an example: Let us compare a traffic cop with a doc. While the formers work can be done by anyone including school kids in case he goes on strike for being arrested for graft for example. In the same scenario if doctors strike work, their work cannot be done by anybody else because of the technicalities involved. This plus the fear factor allows docs to go scot fee and indulge in whatever they want.

There is something about the hippocrates oath that they take in medical school which needs to be reminded to them in large letters time and again. Today no doc gives you proper medicine or cures you in the first instance bcos then you might not pay a return visit and he will lose his fee !

In today's world the greatest wealth that you can earn is not falling sick !

Absolutely true and the ones running a big hospital escape under the guise of having invested in advance technology while the fact is that they get easier loans by virtue of being a doc.

a majority of doctors wish to be ethical when they learn, but reality forces them to become money-minded.

There was a time when Doctor was considered equivalent to GOD.Because he was the Saviour of life.A Doctor was a sensitive character with honesty, integrity and wisdom. But the current scenario is different.Majority is interested in overloading their bank balance and see a queue of patients ,medical representatives who always wait for presenting their valuable earnings to contribute in building the hidden treasure of MODERN GOD and the ultimate pundits i.e.CHEMIST.Sometime the relationship of DOCTOR and CHEMIST is so intimate that it resembles the JAI and VEERU of SHOLEY.Ultemately both have same objectives.Single word that can be said to this scenerio is "SHAMEFUL". THIS ARTICLE IS NOT FOR THOSE DOCTORS WHO ARE STILL FOLLOWING THEIR VALUES AND SERVING THEIR SOCIETY.THEY ARE STILL THE REAL GOD.Rest are..........................................
