Yes , seen people (<= 5 year experience) coming strong in their career after doing MBA and getting great promotions , Having said that it also depends upon what is their current level of Job experience, if you have over 7 years of experience you might consider continuing the skills related to your career goals than to do an MBA

If one has planned to do MBA it is good to take a break from work and complete it . It helps in growth as well. But if one does MBA just to get better designation it is not justified. Taking a break to study can be difficult and if done without right prospective it will be useless.

Yes It does because it helps you understand the organisation better. An employee wit an MBA can contribute more to an organisation. Also the person becomes a fully rounded individual

As per me if your having a good yrs of exp, thn hardly it matters, bcoz practical knowledge has more weightage than bookish knowledge.And than too,if you want to hav a degree than after having such a good exp i dont feel it right to take a break for MBA or else you can either opt for Correspondence or Part-time MBA from a reputed B-School.....

why waste your time doing an MBA while you can do it in correspondence but if your truly want to learn then its right choice.
