yes,I think the idea behind sponsorship is to make brand recall or taking the 'top of mind recall' of the prospects. Hence, by the time they're in the phase of finding preferences for their need, they will more likely to put the recalled-brand into consideration list.

 hi Rajesh, In My opinion --No. Plain and simple, take for examle,naming a sports stadium Fed Ex Field does not make anyone more inclined to use   Fed Ex to ship their packages.

But it's just as well corporations don't know this because frankly someone has to foot the bill and why not Fed Ex?
