for me it is a barrier. because not every student is good in all parameters of academic cycle. can you really say with confidence that an IIM student is far better than a student of an ordinary management college.

for me lot many times students don't able to meet the requirements of good MBA students. But just on this behalf can we be sure enough to figure out good managers.....????

Ya this will be barrier if it is bound by some specific grades or percentages because may be student was potential enough but in his/her previous exam he/she could not do better for any reason.

Yes it is sometimes a barrier for potential candidates... it should not be the only criteria... Can have some other methods for selecting the students....

entrances are the test to map the potential of the student. we can't say its a barrier. it creates a competitive world and finds the best among a lot and this creates a deference among a lot.
