Does feminism itself promote anti-feminism?

When we ask for something we become smaller and when we give something we become bigger - this is age old saying.. Similarly when a women asks for liberation and anything more .. does that "asking" become a setback for her?? Does feminism in itself goes against its aim?

Gender bias existed from time immemorial and will continue to exist however hard one may try! Gender is a natural phenomenon and each one having to play a very balanced role without obstructing the other. The way we can not alter the Rule of Jungle, the Law of Nature should be respected!

We need to ask for the thing we don't get.. because we deserve it . (no one will shout at the top of his voice for something which is given easily). And here we are asking for soemthing which was ours but was taken from us long back..

I would add one more to the above, it is also the propagators of feminism who reflect an anti-feministic attitude by potraying an aggressive and non-accomadative posture. And no ! there was nothing taken back from women, like i mentioned it is just the way it was used or abused rather that made the difference,

We simply see that feminism is supported because according our vedic scripts there can only be a good mother representing the whole feminin genter and she can never be bad. Even sons can be born as bad guys but not female ones . represented by

Feminism in itself is a wrong word, equal status means equal status for all no feminism or mascularism should ever exist. When it comes to favors they ask for it. For example in a railway tickets Q it is written that no separate Q for ladies still they directly approach the window and argue with others regarding them being ladies. This definitely will lead to anti feminism

Every action has a equal and opposite reaction. In india woman is provided equally rights to you can see in indian history woman has has to right to choose their groom. There was no "parda pratha" etc. and along with time they rights were theft by man(some) to proove their greatness & importance that is why it was obivious

I agree with Isha.Feminism is straight forwardness,politeness.prettiness.It does come off grace,praise,and attitude.In Indian context, important deities are female,the recognition is there,but when the real virtue confront,the male chauvinism prevail.

In reality the actual word 'feminism' or female liberty is a wrong one > From time immemorial women have always played equal or greater role in the upliftment of society.Only in the medieval period an attempt was made to enslave them and take away their actual responsibility.With the changing times many things have changed and with that the notion of female liberty.There is nothing to be fought which is rightfully theirs.so there is no real reason for anti feminism
