Good education, not only by degrees, but also by acquiring proper knowledge which can be truly executed/applied in the respective fields can surely bring success.the term 'success'should not only be measured in terms of money, but also to be accounted in terms of job environment, satisfaction, purpose etc.

Obviously YES!!! A proper good education must have its own values. Sometimes there might be late in getting success but that does not at all mean that Good Education Fails. Atleast one can build his/her character with a good education..

Mr. Vipin, don't u think dat companies make comparison between candidates on the basis of institutions. I'm d personal example for this. It doesn't mean dat i'm are not aware about the selection criteria of the companies. You say dat mostly companies visit good institution on the basis of last performance of candidates from the same institute. But wer r d company's 2 which i can show my ability. i do agree dat last selection depends on candidates ability not on Institute. but If company is going only to d reputed coll. den wer is d place for us. obviously Good Education leads to success but reputed institutions plays a important role........

I suppose the question and the description are not in sink - question is on good education and description is on institutions. As per DIKW model (Data, Information, Knowledge, Wisdom), a person who gains knowledge and can apply it, is said to have "good education". Statistically, good institution provide good education and hence there is high probability of pupil having high success. Good institutions pick students who have high success rate and percentage in their studies, thus it is a circle which is driven by the student and not totally by the institution.

I think yes bcoz after seeing the day to day happenings in the market it ssems obvious. Companies perceive that reputed institutions means by default good candidates & recruit them but there are also eligible & better candidates in other institutions... What about them??

Education provides you the domain knowledge. Success depends on how the knowledge is utilised in a positive direction. The knowledge adds value to the success. People are there recording successes in their area of working even without basic educational qualifications.

Mr. Sridhar, It means you want to say that your institute is not good but you are more capable. Is It? If you feel like same than why you didn't try for good institute (only) if you are more capable than students of "GOOD INSTITUTIONS". Competition is presence in every field. Yes India is facing the same problem but it is not possible that all student will get admission in good institute. I personally feel that good students build good institute rather than good institute make good students. If you have more capable skills then you 'll get good job soon and after that will able to show your capability over those candidates who educated from good institutions. You are starting your career it is not end.

Mr. Suresh, What do you mean by success? Please don't make comparison between candidates on the basis of institutions. It means you are not aware about the selection criteria for the companies. You can say it as mostly companies visit good institution on the basis of last performance of candidates from the same institute. But remember the last selection depends on candidates ability not on Institute. If company place CAMPUS in two institutes :out of one is reputed and another one is neutral. Then, it maybe possible that candidates from the second one will select for placement if company officials feel that they are more intelligent & suitable for job than reputed institutes. Means "Good Education leads to success Not the Institutes"........

Success is more often than not determined by the mind of the person, rather than his/her education.Persistence and willing to run that extra mile are the keys to success rather than something you learned at school. If anything, an education can hold you back because you are taught to work in a specific framework whereas outside that framework you will find that success you are looking for.
