Every coin has 2 sides. In current situation where our country is still developing country, we are moving towards a new generation and a path to developed country. Common man is happy of  getting  new technologies in various fields where as he has gained more  no. of disease and physical and mental stress, which is directly or indirectly by these industrilisation only. So we cannot  say that industrialisation is making man happy or not, it is upto us that how we are reacting on this development.

thanks Surabhi for referral.i remember old saying which is perfectly suits to this debate."human wants are unlimited" so we can't be happy with one situation/thing all times.so is,this industrialisation.eventhough it seems that we are advanced so much because of so many innovations let's not forget that there will be great amount of imbalance on so many factors which are essential for living on this mother earth and that leads to a big END.

I agree with you....

Yes it was making man happy because his works have been reduces and done by machines. Man normally does not care about anything he wants to live his life happily till he lives..... So presently industrialization is making man happy but in the coming years this will be a big problem for mankind....... So we should get back to our olden days and reduce the dependence on machines......

Due to industrialization we all are facing global warming, air and water pollution, severe competition to get success in life by any means, Money becomes power to every one and for that everyone try to achieve it. I think we all are going far away from our ethics we get from our parents. We also forget not only cultural,social activities but also family relations.

industrialisation gives more employment and also increases GDP if running sucessfully. also if the industries are set up in rural areas the local people get employment also the cance of development of rural area increases such as hospitality, transportation, general stores, electricity.....
