Last Night I think too much on this topic and as of my point of view I don't think it was necessary 10-15 years before but now a days competition is very high in every business and one can't fight alone with this competition until he/she is aware about some insights of business.

So, does management education assure success in business?

I think its no. There are hell lot of examples in the market where the business owners are not MBA graduates. So, I don't think one needs an management degree to succeed in business.

Mgmt Edu. is must for success in Business bcoz,
to get Success in Business you need to Evaluate it and Present it before the whole World & for this you need to know the basics of Business Development,
i.e. PRESENATABILITY & Accountability and you only get from a Mgmt Education

I guess the answer is yes.9I am trying to be very cautious).

The fathers' of the Indian Industry like the Tata's,Birla's,Mafatlal's had never been to a B-School.Yet they were the pillars' of the Industrialised India which we see today.

But,having said that, the nauches of Business should be studied to be successful now. It depends from which B-school you graduate out since the faculty matters. It is like saying that some of our forefathers did not go beyond the 1st or 4th Std but yet were susscessful---so what's the point in attending school!!!!

In my opinion I think yes, management education does give success in business. It helps to understand the way business is done & how to forecast in a constructive way to reach your goals.

"Guarantee Success" is a strong phrase. Management education initiates possibility of business success if people are motivated to unlearn- and learn new processes and implement them. a strong transformational leadership would benefit the process strongly.

Pramod, if you use the term 'guarantee success' then I would say it might not be like that. Management education may only serve to make it more probable not guarantee success in business.
