Rural newspapers are tough to run, but they can help in chalking out development plans n can expose corruption at the grassroot level, media experts said at a panel discussion. Sr.Journo Mark Tully stressed rural newspapers could go a long way in exposing corruption. Media ignores real problems at the grassroot level, he said. Though it's a very challenging job, but the idea is certainly possible to empower people.

You mean "News Media" ? Yes, world wide ..  very often. And some times they distorts / manufacture news .. !!

By this time, many of us might have seen the movie named " Run ". This movie has tried so show us a glimpse of the 'inside story'.

I don't agree with you Shahid, media does its best to identify all the news it can and shows us whatever it gets. If something is missed, its not their fault. Media does all the tactics to search all the grass root news from all the corners of a news. I am a media person and I personally know how much we struggle to get a news. We don't take our steps back to endanger our lives to get news from dangerous area. Thats why you get news even from War zones and even from enemy areas from our spy cameras.....
