Deepak thanks for referral. I agree with you and till such time the case is not fully cracked it will be needless to point fingers to some state. However, with this attack it has become apparent that we dont act swiftly particularly in procuring weapons and other things for the task force, which is very unfortunate but true.

What I feel, the terrorism is not brought under the National Disaster Management act wherein a set of "SOP" is to be activated in the event of any such occurrence. This includes Mobilizing the Resources, Internal & External help, Tackling the event on the forefront, Rehabilitation measures(compensation for individual , property damage, Environmental damage etc.) To greater extent, irrespective of political climate- be it Congress, BJP or any other- NDMA will take action immediately. It reduces the friction as we see, now, among the political parties. Developed Nations has seen, terroristic attack by Bomb blast, NBC(Nuclear, Biological, Chemical)attack, attack on vulnerable things such as Intelligence, Radio network, Dam(reservoir), strategic units etc.as National Disaster. Similar, measures are to be introduced here to.

It is the utter failure of the Indian government and the maharashtra govt. The blame is to be made to the top officials like commisioner of police, mumbai, CIDs and the govt not checking these guys. Once again it has been proved the lack of security to the mumaities. Immediate planning and action is required and maintain it every time.

Its undoubtedly the Govt's failure. Whenever there is a terror attack, the Govt. makes powerful statement "the attack is inhuman and we will crush the terrorism with iron hand". Its a routine statement. How tough they are evident from allowing the Afzal guru to freely roam India as he wish and investing heavy money in protecting the lives of Kasab. Dirty vote bank politics. They are playing with the safety the nation. Shame shame shame.

Govt. Should avoid the impression that they are inactive but a war against PAK is not the solution. World should know where and who are supporting terrorists. Our intelligence must be able to find out real persons and charge them in public.

Thanks for referral Instead blaming Pak, i must say the blame lies on our part. The roots are much more deeper than we think so the govt should come back strongly from its reluctant approach. Although there are many factors that has to be looked into.
