somewhat i agree with you because people will afraid to do cooruption as there is being taken serious action against corrupt people and it has been finalised immediately not like government organization ,which take so many years to punish a corrupt people, and in private they will affraid to loose the job so they will less corrupt than government organization, ITS NOT TRUE IN ALL CASES BECAUSE PRIVATE COMPANIES ARE MORE CORRUPTED THAN THE GOVERNMENT ONES AND THEY INDIRECTLY BRIBE IN THE NAME OF DONATIONS but though privatization lead to reduce the level of corruption,it is always not recommended to privatize all the sectors.for instance let us take railways.if indian railways are privatized, then there are more chances of further increase in the fares of trains as private sectors cant handle the huge amount of transportation.govt may manage the funds by seeking the centre's help.so if there are more sectors being privatized, then there will be a risk of monopoly also.

Privatization has opened up the market as is evident from the number of entrepreneurs who have climbed up in the last couple of decades. The RTI act has also helped in making the malpractices come to the fore.

Further tuning of the system is required, as we are just halfway through. This is the need of the hour.

Yes this is very true that privatization leads to corruption and the reason is that privatization brings institutionalization changes. Basically privatization increases the control of management over the employees and different strategies are adopted to maximize the profit of shareholders. This increases the sense of responsibility in the management and obviously the employees are also motivated to get promotions and employees benefits (which are relatively more in private companies). These all factors together positively impact the performance of the employees and decreases the issues like corruption and bribe. In government institutions, employees do not have the fear of being expelled but they do have such fear in privatization. In this way greater control and check over the employees in private companies decreases the corruption.

As you would have found out in the 2G Scam, it is the corporates that have lead the bandwagon of corruption. It is the corporates to lead the market, that is the root of corruption. Privatization would only make the powers be more powerful and more corrupt. Solution is to make it a systemic change in how we transact. And that is what lokpal movement is all about. Empowerment. Accountability, responsiblity and authority.

Private has a profit motive. If corruption gives more profit than efficiency private may opt for corruption rather tha efficiency and quality. Corruption increases with increase in population density
