I believe rebranding is one opportunity where companies can correct previous branding mistakes and bring it in the right track and also an opportunity for product development. I think rebranding should start from process called Brand Internalization were rebranding exercise should strart internally and in this way rebranding will definitely help in creating a new product and a new image. Example of HUTCH -To- VODAFONE - The communication was excellent and if we notice they started communication of their Customer Care Services and continuous flow of new products. I think that was right Process and they never stopped with RE-BRANDING but they continued the exercise with lot of innovative ideas.

It's not true every time. If the Brand performs badly after the original launch, Re-Branding may not be enough. The Brand may even have to withdrawn from the Market
