I THINK IT DOESN'T AFFECT AT ALL AS SMALL IT COMPANIES ARE JUST A DROP IN FRONT OF BIG IT COMPANIES, WHEREAS BIG IT COMPANIES ARE THE MIXTURE OF ALL SEAS. ITS HIGHLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DEFEAT BIG IT COMPANIES. BETTER LET THE FREELANCERS TRY THEIR BEST AS FREELANCERS ALSO A DROP IN FRONT OF BIG IT COMPANIES.

I agree with you Nisha. Small to big is a journey in many cases. One way or other . the small companies affect the performance of the big.

Yes, they are threat. All big companies was small in their earliest year, and big companies understand these affects. small companies provide huge employment in cheaper rate than big to employer and big companies also following the new market trends.

In my opinion it will not affect to a greater extent. It is give and take in business. In case the big companies change their option for others, the small & the freelancers who are already in link may be affected.

Thanks for the referral Ms.Nisha.

The big ones occassionally farm out small pieces of their mega projects out to the smaller IT companies and free lancers. The cost of getting them done by those whose overheads are lesser than those of the bigger companies makes it worth while. It all depends on what one means by "affect".

Everyone has a right to earn money.Let the small guys give the big guys a run for their money. Just because they are big they think they can dictate terms. Atleast in this type of competition the big guys will keep themselves under check, else their charges would have been exorbitant to clients + their employees attitude are pathetic.

Small dolphins play a vital role in supporting the day to day activities of the big fishes in the market. Without them the big fishes will be helpless. And I do agree that smal players do affect the business of the big companies....

It is true that to some extent small IT companies can be threat to the big companies & same for free lancers with small companies. But when it comes to business then definitely big brand name matters in terms of quality service & reputation.

No body affects no one...we are all in an interconnected market wherein the small depend on the biggies and vice-versa..However, if the smallies take advantage in order to gain business from their big bros, it really has no major impact on them as they can always rely on their financial backup to turn the tide in their favour...

:) .. Sorry Nisha and guys .. i cannot accept that ... small it companies .. and freelancers .. affecting the it giants....

First : just think if your a person... i mean if your a millionaire.. and you need something for your business.. literally you will hunt for the experts , who can literally fulfill your requirement.  experts means those who are really big....

I am not trying to say .. all the little guys are not experts and they are fools.. i mean to say your mind will literally go for the biggies not the small one.

Even small ones are talented they are even making some decent money... C if all those small companies attract everyone .. and if they earn a lot more money .. why would they still be a small guy...

Even a freelancer , will think to start a company if he is earning some money.... small companies are those who literally wants to become giants... some achieve it.. some may not....

Some times.. the biggies will buy you if your showing a drastic change in the market ( if you allow them to buy ;) ) ...

The hunt for the giants is always on...... i would say .. If you tube did not sell themselves to Google , they would have become a Great Giant.. Google Monitored , youtubes activity , they found they are doing a great job.. and they buyed  themm... .. Do you think youtube is a big giant in the beginning NO...

They made some drastic changes in the market and they earned money...This stuffs suits for everything guys..

Millionaire's are still investing in the market .. and they always Search for giants.. bcoz of the brand.. the name..  ..

I will give you a another example

Your running a world famous Super Market.. And you want everything in  your supermarket to get automated.. i mean . billing. blah blah.. bar detection,.. biometric installation..monitoring .. and everything...

Whom you will go and ask for .. will you and ask your friends or will you search for free lancers.. or You will go and search for the Giant who is specialized in that field...

Simple

P.s

Everyone wants their Name to be noted in the market , untill and unless your not recognized , you wont make money... ..

;)
