No, the Quality is not assured when the brand is established. There can be very good institutes which are less popular but provide absolute value addition to the students and develop them as better citizens and employees/ entrepreneurs. Many High profile institutes just waste their whole time investing in brand building and marketing techniques.

i wudnt say that brand image is "JUST" marketing...nor i wud say it assures quality to the cent% students studying there.... if an institute has gained popularity it is surely due to their facilities,faculties and ultimately STUDENTS.... once the institute has gained its image it will surely adopt measures to maintain it....and only students which meet their stds are allowed to study there!!! so a minimum quality level among students is definitely maintained!!

Hello,I would say the brand related polularity isn't same like the quality related popularity. So you can't rely on the brand only. I wouldn't bet for a college with a freshly made popular image. I would like to compare a brand of an educational institution to wine - the older the better

As you can't give assurance for quality of every student who is studying in any

reputed college or institute.

But, brand or image building is important in current situation to attract more &

more students from different parts of our country.

never gives assurance for every student, that he /she is a bright/good student in

academics or in learning.

Quality of one student is different from other student.

But, brand image or building is important at current stage.

I agree with you friend. The quality of a student is just depend upon themselves irrespective with the brand value of the institution. However, it is fact that talented students gets attracted towards the popularity of the institution which results in the better outcome of the institution.

Such popular institute take students who has obtained good ranks academically. The raw material is good, hence the product should be good that is the premise. Green pass (Choice) they get initially, than chance. Students who have studied in institutions have lesser brand has to sell himself, for that he should get a chance to expose himself in appropriate forum. Here chance should help initially than choice.
