Well i know some one of some one who is "one of those tough to crack B School" pass out and is accepting close to 25 L as his consent to marriage who is equally educated. They are highly respected people of society. My question is if this practice has not/can not be curbed at this level then what do we expect from those who are years behind the civilization. Both groom and bride side are happy about it. And nevertheless it is setting example for those fortunate/unfortunate people who can not afford/wish to be part of such "consent". What can be done? and big question is can any thing be done?
