In the past months, there is a steep decline in earnings for India’s airlines which has been matched only by a steady exodus of senior executives from domestic aviation companies. And with all those strikes from the employees and the recent trend is like  many top level executives are leaving the industry, they are not just changing the job but completely leaving the industry altogether, Which is creating quite a bit talent drain in the aviation industry at the moment. But then with all this I think aviation industry is a good place to be, with markets bouncing back and there is less scare of swine flu these days, and surely Aviation industry would bounce back again.  So what do you think people, Is Aviation industry a good option in the future for an employee.

I think Aviation industry is not doing so well at the moment but in coming days it surely has the potential of bouncing back and also with a bang, but the talent drain is what the industry should take a deep look, with no proper professionals at the helm it will be more so difficult to handle things in future, with best talents changing the field and with less no. of professionals here will impact its business though it has a very good potential, but with talent crunch it will make life difficult for aviation industry.

One reason, I feel, is that it hardly got any time to mature.

Stability can be achieved through overall growth and adequate time at constants. The sudden spurt with which the demands were rising forcing growths in resource requirement be met, forced a situation where quality failed to matter in accuracy and efficiencies. The business maturity needed for process excellence through best practices through continued trainings can not be replaced by mere numbers and makeshift policies for long. A measured approach stabilising process excellence alongside supporting ancillary supports to develop may never force business overreactions and high employee attrition.

The development trends were more like overproducing cars with no roads to run and whence roads got ready the support industries have changed business.

Problems do occur but we should not forget it happens in every industry we go. May be aviation Industry is not doing so good at the moment but the problem is temporary. We should not say it cannot overcome the problem. It will definitely overcome the problem very soon and as we all know in the normal conditions, aviation industry is one of the best career options for an individual..
